Clinton supporter Kantor calls people in Indiana ’shit’

By: Cary Briel, Skaneateles Design

Kantor calls people of Indiana “shit”Most people who’ve been alive more than 10 minutes know what an extreme makeover the Hillary Clinton that stands before voters today is compared to what she was even a few months ago, making it hard to tell who the real Clinton is. As a matter of fact, if you don’t like Hillary Clinton, wait 5 minutes.

Here’s a good example for the people of Indiana. Hillary Clinton now says that what is obviously being said about the people of Indiana in this 1992 Bill Clinton campaign documentary, War Room, wasn’t said at all, or was somehow ‘doctored’ into the tape. Judge for yourself. Right around the 4:40 time marker, listen to what then campaign official, now supporter, Mickey Kantor had to say about the people of Indiana. Click here to watch.

Highest disapproval rating of all time, Bush

By: Cary Briel, Skaneateles Design

Bush - Mission AccomplishedCNN reports in a new poll by CNN/Opinion Research Corp that the current president, George W. Bush, is the most unpopular president in modern American history. The poll indicates that 71 percent of Americans disapprove of how Bush is handling his job as president. “No president has ever had a higher disapproval rating in any CNN or Gallup Poll; in fact, this is the first time that any president’s disapproval rating has cracked the 70 percent mark,” said Keating Holland, CNN’s polling director. CNN Senior Political Analyst Bill Schneider adds, “He is more unpopular than Richard Nixon was just before he resigned from the presidency in August 1974.” President Nixon’s disapproval rating in August 1974 stood at 66 percent. Read more at the CNN website here. I can personally see how this could be. Every time I pay for gas for my vehicle, I picture Bush shrugging his shoulders, saying “the oil company profits are perfectly normal in this market.” Maybe this means more Obamicans?

Shigeru who?

By: Cary Briel, Skaneateles Design

SHIGERU MIYAMOTOTime has just named its 100 most influential people in the world in 2008. #1 in the list is Shigeru Miyamoto. Before clicking here, do you have any idea who the heck this guy is?

Actually, there are 207 people in the list, each having a rating from 1 to 100 (i.e., some people tied with other people). Incidentally, Miley Cyrus - aka Hannah Montana (rank 146, rating 33) is also one of the top 100 influentials. Check! The full list can be found here.

E-I-E-I-OOO!

By: Cary Briel, Skaneateles Design

Handwashing posterDo you need a new incentive to wash your hands correctly after using the bathroom? That’s right, correctly! Is there is a wrong way to wash your hands? Of course there is, you say. We’ve all seen it. People not washing hands before exiting the public bathroom (hopefully not food service staff, but anyway…), the quick splash (for looks only), or those that do wash but then grab the door handle picking up the germs of the last person who didn’t wash.
