College SuperdelegatesDespite Hillary Clinton’s sizable victory in West Virginia last night, the Obama camp has rolled out two more superdelegates this morning. Rep. Pete Visclosky (IN) has endorsed the Illinois senator, as well as Christine Schon Marques. Marques, the chair of the Democrats Abroad, is assigned .5 votes at the Democratic convention. Also, the two remaining college-aged superdelegates have also endorsed Obama, via a Youtube posting last night. Watch their endorsement video.

Obama’s new “Vote for Change” initiative “should scare the beejeesus out of the McCain campaign and the RNC”

By: Cary Briel, Skaneateles Design

Vote for change initiative - ObamaThe Atlantic.com website reports that although the Obama campaign calls its “Vote for Change” voter registration drive a mere voter registration drive (i.e., Nothing to see here, folks, except for ordinary people helping ordinary people gain the franchise), it’s much more than that. Obama’s Vote for Change program will lay the foundation for his general election get-out-the-vote efforts, according to the Atlantic. Obama aides won’t say more, but I gather the campaign is constructing an incredibly elaborate online interface to allow its more than a million donors and volunteers to directly persuade their neighbors through a variety of media. On election day, the Obama camp might have more than a million individuals volunteering on his behalf. That should scare the beejeesus out of the McCain campaign and the RNC. Read the full story, including the latest Obama campaign release, here at the Atlantic.com website.
